Volunteers

Volunteers are the engine powering FreshBrain.

Here are a few categories of volunteers you may wish to participate in.

Community Participants

The best way we can provide support for the students doing projects and activities is to have a vibrant community of interested and experienced participants. When the students run into problems, have questions or need advice - they will ask the community through mechanisms like forums. Members of the community will be able to respond with the information that the students need to keep moving. If you are interested in participating, all you have to do is register (create an account) and jump in!

Advisors

The students who take on projects may ask to be assigned an advisor. This person will help them to be successful by providing the necessary guidance. The advisors will be trained on the FreshBrain processes and tools and will have a wealth of support behind them. The advisors will also be carefully screened in order to insure the safety of the students. This will be a really fun and rewarding way to get involved. If you are interested in becoming an advisor, register (create an account), go to "Contact" and send us a note and let us know that you are interested in being an Advisor. We will get back to you!

Marketing Support

The key to FreshBrain's success is to get lots of students involved. We will use lots of different mechanisms to connect with them. One of the best ways is to have supporters actively looking for ways to spread the word. We are very interested in viral marketing and establishing a brand through the social networks used by our demographic target on a daily basis. If you are interested in helping us to spread the word, please register (create an account), go to "Contact" and send us a note letting us know that you are interested in Marketing Support. We will get back to you!

Content Editor

At the core of FreshBrain is a freshbrain.org, the website that students will use to Explore, Engage, Participate, Collaborate and Create, and Complete projects and activities. What is behind all of this is good website content. We can use content editors to help us find and deliver this in a way that is interesting and motivating to the students. If you are interested in becoming an content editor, register (create an account), go to "Contact" and send us a note letting us know that you are interested in being a Content Editor. We will get back to you!

If you are interested in volunteering and don't see the right job for you, please send us a note from the contacts page.
