I'm 16, going on 17 in December, and I love music. I've been playing the violin since I was in 5th grade, and I'm in one of my high school's audition choirs. I just got back from a really big competition at a somewhat local college. I act, also. I'm in the play at my school; it is Alice in Wonderland, and I'm the Mock Turtle. I love it. I like to keep myself busy, but I can sometimes get overwhelmed with all I do. I read a lot, so I'm a little obcessive about grammar. I have to correct people when they make an error while they are talking to me if I notice, which I always do. I volunteer at my local YMCA on Saturdays, and I think it's great. I love hanging out with the kids that go there and talking to them. I seem to fit in because I'm so short. :) But overall, I'm just a minority teen looking for every possible way to get into college with the least cost to me.
