Brainstorming –writing on multiple sheets of paper. Skateboarding around campus at night thinking about things. Watching “Un Chien Andalou.” Exploring my surroundings – finding an inspirational bus. Talking with friends about ideas. Dreaming. Finalizing a script. Casting actors, and calling people to ask for help. Writing a shot list and schedule based upon a busy actor’s availability. Buying lights, props and other equipment for the film such as wrenches. Shooting at sunrise. Setting up and shooting with a green screen.Breaking a light and replacing it. Washing the soaked sheets. Editing the footage. Learning the Write on effect and 3d layering in After Effects and creating the visual effects. Organizing the clips. Finding and creating audio in Soundtrack Pro.
