I had a school project to build a bridge out of popsicle sticks and it was me and two other people in my group. All we could use was popsicle sticks and glue. There was some other adhesives that we could use but this was mainly what we used. Before we started the project we did some research about different types of bridges and i was really surprised how many different ones there was. I never really stopped and took the time to look at a bridge a realize how challengeing and what different methods are used to construct a bridge. I also finally learned what happened toThe Tacoma Narrows bridge and why that was a disaster. I always would see videos of a bridge jumping up and down and i always thought that was some fake video of a bridge disaster back in the day but it turned out it was real. The bridge that i liked the best was the cable stayed bridge because of its beautifullness. Well for this project the goal was to make the bridge that could hold the most weight so the cable stayed bridge might not be the best option. Our group made the decision of building a Arch bridge we thought this would hold the most weight and we could also figure out some kind of design that would look amazing. I wont tell you who won yet but its something to stick around for and theres also a video that i will add so stay tuned.
