The photo above was taken with a digital single-lens reflex camera and was edited in Adobe Photoshop. Through my use of textures and lack of saturation, in addition to the sharpening of the objects in focus, I convey the eerie mood associated with the Agoraphobia disorder--which is essentially a fear of public and unfamiliar places. The monster shadow accentuates the idea that people with such a disorder may feel "unhuman." Despite this feeling, I am not portraying people with such disorders in a negative light. It is merely a piece that describes the mood of those that suffer from Agoraphobia.
