In order to create this project I used the website www.veoh.com to download episodes of the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I had already ripped the song Bad Reputation from a cd that I had purchased. After I had decided to make this video, I imported the song and clips to the program Windows Movie Maker. I then spent the next couple of weeks skimming through the various episodes getting the seconds of video that I wished to use during different portions of the song. After I selected the portion of video which I wished to use I muted the sound of the video so that it would not be heard over the music. In order to produce the correct timing and effect I utilized the Windows Movie Maker feature split, which allows me to cut certain portions of the video out. I also used slow down half, which slows down the motion within the clip. Finally, I used speed up double which speeds up the motion within the clip.

 During this video I attempted to use a technique called "lip-syncing". This is where various sections of video are edited in a way to make the character appear to be saying or singing something unrelated to the original video but related in some way to the character itself.
