Examples
Homeschooling is both amazing and challenging. You can provide your child with the type of education that you believe is best for them. But it can be a daunting task to stay current with technology, provide fun and educational marterial and insure that they have the opportunity to work with others. Here are some examples where FreshBrain can help - all available FREE.
Current Technology
FreshBrain strives to provide teens with the larest technology. We scour the internet for new tools and technology to make available to our teens across a wide variety of technology areas.
Some wonderful examples are:
GIMP - a graphic editing program that provides very similar capabilities to Photoshop.
SAM - stop motion animation tool that is impressive yet easy to use.
Glogster - a website that allows for the creation of multimedia posters.
Audacity - sound recording and editing.
The list goes on and on. Check out the Tools section on FreshBrain.

This is especially valuable for homeschooling. It allows teens to use the latest technology to work together on projects virtually. There is no need to be in a room together, or even in the same state!
Some features of the site that support this collaboration are:
- Projects - collaborative environment to work together, share files, track status through updates.
- Forums - the place to have discussions, ask and answer questions.
- Chat - the abilityfor two friends to have a conversation online
- Friends - a way to connect with others who have similar interests
