Yeah, GIMP is definitely the best way to go, particularly compared to Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9. THERE'S NO FILTERS!!!! If anything they call them 'effects' but they don't work the same! And the layers aren't 'layers'...they're 'vector layers' and 'floating layers' and 'raster layers' and 'layer groups'.....NO NORMAL FRICKIN' LAYERS >_<

 The quality of the poster even changed..it didn't let me save it right..

So YEAH, kudos to GIMP.

I'm not a big fan of Paint Shop either. Gimp is pretty good, even with it's limitations.
