oK scratch anything i said about liking Brittney. Anywayz i found someone else she goes by the name "Kat Perry" I know you all are thinking i'm really slow to just be discovering her but hay at least i got there and i like her songs "I kissed a girl" and "Hot 'n Cold" i know what you all are thinking. I can't list all my favorites sadly, lol. I will just make a comment on Owl City though since he was brought up near the top of this and I'm not able to read all of this. Personally I think Owl City's song Fireflies is completely sold out and overplayed. I love his music though and yeah even though his style is slightly reminiscent of Death Cab For Cutie's side project Postal Service he has his own unique sound that is both upbeat and sweet. I adore Adam Young. <3 | |

Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, DJ Frane, Ozric Tentacles, Rush, Dire Straits. Just some bands that popped into my head that I really like. I love classic rock, metal, progressive rock, chillout, and stuff like that. Long songs all the way. And I think that most of the top40 stuff is terrible. | |

I personally hate Owl City...i mean i like the song fireflies, but to me it just sounds like a Death Cab For Cutie rip off...I mean the first time i head it i was like WOW that new death cab for cutie song was awesome!!!...then someone told me that it wasnt them and my mind was blown! haha...then i checked out their older stuff and I personally dont really like them =/ | |

 ya i love really obscure stuff... i just bought an album on half.com from ryoji ikeda... he's called a "sound artist." he takes data like literally binary stuff 0's and 1's you know, and makes whole compositions with'em. rad stuff. whoa becca, nice to see another sonic youth fan out there | |
