I used FL Studio 8 which is a sequencer program like Sonar, ProTools, Garage Band etc...

In the beat I used different samples (sounds) from drum kits I've collected.

It took me a couple of hours to piece together the whole beat, the concept, the arrangemnt, the mixing 

Although the main instrument (harp sound) that plays throughout the whole song is a sample I used, everything else that you hear is done by me. (the bassdrum, synths, bells, voice effects etc)

I truely can't say the difficult level of this project because it varies.  I've been using the program for sometime now, and I've been making beats for awhile. You don't have to be a musical genius to use the program but you must have some sort of skill and music knowledge.
