Description

This learning path is for people who want to learn to inexpensively record music for a rock band, using only a microphone and Audacity.  This learning path will give you the basics, which you can build upon depending on the availability of equipment to you and your band.  You can get good amateur results from the methods outlined here.

Step 1:  Open up your Audacity Project File.

 

Step 2:  Check levels and record the voice.

 

Step 3:  Repeat step 2 for any more voices or miscellaneous instruments.

 

Step 4:  Remove noise.

 

Step 5:  Save your recording and upload it to this activity on FreshBrain.
